Whey Protein vs Carnivor

Alrite guys. Been finishing up my cut for summer. Dropped 42 lbs and 13% BF over 5 months.

Anyways I had felt that my fat loss was slowing. So I asked for assistance on another board.

A pro, who has been competing professionaly for 20 yrs offered up some diet advice, which was pretty much a keto run. Anyways I didnt really like it.

Another thing he did suggest was dropping Whey protein for Carnivor and dropping Casein for whole egg protein.

Below is a copy from what he told me about it. I would love to get some feedback and or links that elaborate more. Also feedback on what you guys think of Carnivor and if their is any truth to his statements on Whey.

"Ive read hundreds and hundreds of studies, but I always remember ****, so I don't save links or books.
I can tell you it is highly insulogenic(meaning it causes massive insulin release in the body. about what table sugar causes for same amt g for g..varying slightly, only by type of whey you are consuming)..also, it IS highly anabolic(they aren't lying about that, but they aren't telling you the whole picture either..)for about 15-20min. after that it becomes HIGHLY catabolic(generally doing way more harm than it did good)..there are many caveats to whey protein, with these two being very important(especially while dieting). when dieting, you don't want highly insulogenic foods going intoo your body. they make you fat. and you cant eat 15min or less after drinking a shake(you would be eating all day)..which small meals are good, but if you ate that often, it wouldn't matter how small the meal. you would be screwed.

both of those properties of whey you could google and see that they are 100% correct.
these are main reasons why I don't have anyone diet with whey. there are many other, but they go into great detail and into cell processes. really no reason to even bring them up when those two alone will suffice. "

Protein shakes are just took once or a few times a day to reach your desired protein intake that you need for your body. Not like its a wonder drug.

I tried carnivor, didn't like it. Got the gas like I have before using any creatine and didn't feel like it helped me at all.
I love gaspari probiotic protein.

That's my experience anyways

If your interested just give a few jugs of it a try, good luck

So you say you dont listin to the "big guy at the gym anymore" Instead you read articles and studys and go of what some science study on the internet says. Hows that working for ya? Big guy still big you still small.
Bench 345 - 10reps
DL 405 - 8reps
Front squat 315 - 8reps
5'8" 233lbs - LIFETIME NATURAL -

well, you could choose a lower GI protein. i know plenty of pros that still use WPI during prep so its not that big of a deal. post-workout it shouldnt be an issue.

I dont see the deal in swapping casien for egg, they both digest slow.

what bit of science being used says whey is only anabolic for 15 minutes, and is catabolic after that? links please.

shoudnt you ask HIM to elaborate since he is the one giving you the advice? we can only guess at what he was talking about.

well, im pretty sure him saying whey is catabolic after 15 minutes is BS. whey takes 20-30 mnutes just to digest in the stomach, and hours to actually reach blood plasma.

far as the GI rating, shouldnt matter. some guys use whey, some dont, in contest prep. i dont see how with just an average joe it would matter. getting to 9-10% isnt hard with just normal dieting.

i dont even know what this is suppose to mean:

and you cant eat 15min or less after drinking a shake(you would be eating all day)..which small meals are good, but if you ate that often, it wouldn't matter how small the meal. you would be screwed.

i wouldnt trust anyone who wont elaborate though. he wouldnt need to save links or books if he could remember what he actually read. while refrerances help, he could have at least told you some stuff off the top of his head.
